CCEDC Environment Program staff work with Conservation Advisory Councils (CACs) and the Dutchess County Environmental Management Council to provide them with educational and technical resources and organizational support. We maintain a directory and online community to inform municipal groups of upcoming environmental events and educational resources, and assist in their efforts to develop environmental ordinances, and adopt better site design principles in their municipal codes.
CCEDC's Environment Program staff provide research-based information, training, and GIS resources and tools to the CACs of Dutchess County.
Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County is an Ex-Officio member of the EMC and provides support and technical resources to the organization.
The Dutchess Area Environmental Science Advisory Network (ESAN) works to promote the improved scientific understanding of critical environmental issues by the public and local community officials.
