Food, Nutrition and Wellness

Welcome to the homepage for the Food, Nutrition and Wellness (FNW) Programs of Cornell Cooperative Extension Dutchess County!

About us…

Through community-based programs, we provide useful and accurate food, nutrition and wellness information to the residents of Dutchess County with a focus on individual and community food security.

We accomplish this through education programs for families, youth, individuals, professionals and communities, as well as through the facilitation of systems and environmental change in various settings.

We are also known as the Nutrition Information Program (or NIP, for short) by the various families and communities in Dutchess County.
